The Denpasar Metereology, Climate, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has warned to expect waves of 3 meters for three days commencing Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
High waves of between 1 and 3 meters are predicted for Bali, the Lombok Straits, and the Bali Straits. Waves of between 0.5 and 1.5 meters are forecast for North Bali.
The BMKG has warned the public to exercise caution when visiting the beach and undertaking water sports over three days, particularly during high winds. Additionally, the public is advised to be on the alert for the risks associated with landslides, floods, falling trees, and standing puddles of water.
BMKG warns that heavy daytime rainfall can be expected in central and western Bali over the three days.
Colder than normal weather in Bali can be expected in Bali over this period.
