Leading US-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure has just published its 2020 “List of Lists” naming the World’s best travel choices in a poll conducted among the magazine’s sophisticated reader base.
The latest edition of The World’s Best Survey comes from “another time” in that the survey closed on 02 March 2020, before the world travel scene collapsed in disarray following the onset of the COVDI-19 pandemic.
Indonesia and Bali featured prominently in Travel + Leisures 2020 List of The World’s Best Hotels and Asia’s Best Hotels.

Rated by Travel + Leisure as The World’s Best Hotel is The Capella Ubud, Bali. Saluted for the “best-personalized service” and its unique tented suites, the hotel exudes tropical charm in every corner – set amidst terraced rice fields and “out of Asia” atmosphere highlighted by a suspension bridge, teak flooring, vintage steamer trunks, and antique furnishings.
Those answering the survey lavished superlatives ranging from “marvelous” to “magical” on this unique property.
