One of the new, up-and-coming sectors in Bali’s tourism economy is an increasingly large selection of elite beach clubs that now punctuate Bali’s shorelines.
Deliberately chic and exclusive in their presentation, these beach clubs are very much in favor with millennials and members of “Generation Z” keen to document and share their “good lives” on social media. These lifestyle venues are home to live and recorded “techno-music,” excellent food and beverage, thematic beach party events, chaise lounges, beach umbrellas, cabanas, swimming pools, and outdoor showers.
Mid-day dining and drinking enjoyed by beachwear-clad merrymakers morphs into elegantly dressed global jet setters gyrating to amplified music as the sun sets. The fun continues until the wee hours of the next day, as long as the credit card limit and physical stamina allow.
Bali’s beach clubs are home to the young, creative crowd and a space for “wanderlusters” to unwind or let loose. More than accommodating music and dance venues, each beach club prides itself on presenting a unique entertainment experience. Singularly or in combination, these clubs offer their guests breathtaking sunsets, infinity pools galore, internationally-renowned DJs, mouth-watering gastronomy, innovative design, and parties under the stars.
Partygoers Beware!
Among the many beach clubs now operating in most tourism centers in Bali, some beach clubs impose entry fees and minimum spend levels that can increase if seated in “premium” areas. In many instances, the minimum spending levels and admission charges can be very high and certainly not for the financially faint of heart.
