As reported by Kompas.com, the head of the Class I Port Health Office (KKP) in Denpasar, Jefri Sitorus, announced 20 hotels in Bali’s green zone selected to quarantine both domestic and international travelers arriving in Bali.
“This is as ordered by the Ministry of Health. We have verified seven hotels in the Nusa Dua area, but one hotel decided to resign from the list. Plans on Friday is to verify three hotels in Ubud, “said Sitorus on Wednesday, 28 July 2021,
Even though six hotels in Nusa Dua have undergone verification, the properties still await final confirmation from the Ministry of Health.
Under instructions issued by the Interim Director-General for the Prevention and Control of Communicable Disease, Max Rein Rondonuwu, on 15 June 2021, said every “green zone” will have six to seven hotels designated for quarantine.
The “green zone” in Bal is comprised of Nusa Dua, Sanur, and Ubud.
The designation of an area as a “green zone” is based on a large number of businesses that have earned CHSE Certification (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability). Also considered for “green zone” status is if the communities have a high level of vaccination among those working and living in these areas.
