As reported by the National Center for Statistics (BPS) and ITN-Indonesia Tourist News, the first four months of 2020 (January-April), the total number of foreign visitors to Indonesia totaled 2.77 million. This figure represents a decline of 45.01% compared to the same period in 2019, when 5.03 million foreigners visited the Republic.
Looking at only the month of April 2020, the downturn in foreign tourists was a whopping 87.44% when compared to April 2019.
