Due to growing passenger demand, Emirates Airlines has announced plans to begin operating a second Airbus A380 from Dubai (DXB) to Denpasar, Bali (DPS).
The additional daily flight will operate from 01 September 2024 until 26 October 2024, mirroring the peak demand of the high season. During this period, Emirates’ current B-777 service, flight EK398/399, between Dubai and Bali will be upgraded to an Airbus A380.
Emirates made aviation history on 01 June 2023 with the inauguration of Airbus A-380 daily service from Dubai to Denpasar. The bold step of operating the world’s largest aircraft from Dubai’s air hub to Bali was rewarded by solid demand, precipitating the recent decision to deploy an additional Airbus A380 daily to Bali during high season.
With the deployment of the second Airbus A380, Emirates will offer more than 2,600 additional weekly seats between Dubai and Denpasar.
By serving Bali with double A380 flights, Emirates will offer more than 2,600 additional weekly seats to and from the island to help accommodate the growing demand during the peak travel season.
Emirates first launched its nonstop daily service from Dubai to Bali in 2015, adding to its scheduled flights to Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK), which began in 1992.
