Ferry Rates E. Java to W. Bali Increase 11%

After some delay, The Ministry of Transportation announced a hike on inter-island ferry fees between East Java and Bali’s Port of Gilimanuk to take effect on Saturday, 01 October 2022.

PT ASDP – the State-owned port authority that operates from the Katapang Port in East Java- announced that the tariff for the cross-strait ferry crossing has increased by 11%.

The ASDP general manager in Ketapang, Muhammad Yasin, confirmed the new tariff, as quoted by NusaBali.com.

The increased ferry crossing tariff follows a recent nationwide 11% in fuel costs.
