The Denpasar Office of the Meteorology, Climate, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts Bali will continue to experience medium to high levels of rainfall until late January or early February 2025.
BMKG Forecaster Brian Eko Pramadi predicts that heavy rains can be expected in South Bali, Kuta, Denpasar, and parts of Tabanan and Sukawti to continue through early February. Adding: “These rainy conditions are normal during the height of each year’s rainy season.”
Bearing in mind that weather conditions are always subject to change, BMKG is urging the public in Bali to remain on alert for the possibility of natural disasters in the form of flash floods, strong winds, and falling trees. In the current year, these weather conditions are being augmented by a cyclonic system positioned to the south of the Island of Java.
