Dan Costa – a world-renowned jazz pianist and composer, will perform for one night only on Sunday, 24 November, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm in the Sthala Room at the Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali.

Costa is appearing as a trio with backing musicians Helmy Agustrian on double bass and Gustu Brahmantra on drums.

Rp. 500,000 provides entrance to an evening of outstanding jazz and an all-you-can-eat buffet, including a glass of wine, beer, or cocktail.

Dan Costa

Born in London in 1989, of Italian and Portuguese parentage, Dan Costa initially studied classical piano before undertaking degree work at Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. He has also studied at the Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espetáculo in Portugal, and the Berklee College of Music.

His work has been praised on the pages of DownBeat and Rolling Stone. Costa is much sought after as a musical collaborator with past partnerships with greats of the jazz pantheon, including Randy Brecker, John Patitucci, Mike Stern, Hermeto Pascoal, Dave Liebman, Ivan Lins, Seamus Blake, Dave Douglas, Romero Lubambo, Leila Pinheiro, Marcos Suzano, Jaques Morelenbaum and Roberto Menescal.
