More Bulgarians Arrested by Bali Police for ATM Skimming at Toyapekeh on Nusa Penida.
Lending more credence to accusations that Bali has become a center for trans-national crime, police arrested to more Bulgarians trying to rob an ATM machine at Toyapakeh on Nusa Penida, Bali.
Kanalbali.com identifies the two men as, Konstantin Zlatkov Ivanov (24) and Georgi Zhivkov Ivanop (25).
As reported by NusaBali, the two men were arrested by police when local a resident, Sahabudin, who lives only 10 meters from the targeted ATM, reported the two men acting suspiciously on Monday, May 13, 2019.
The men have been handed to the police headquarters on the mainland in the Regency of Klungkung. There may be three more accomplices seen at the ATM who are now sought by police.
The men were seen installing a skimming device and a cable on the ATM late at night. The man living adjacent to the ATM challenged the Bulgarian who responded by offering him a sum of cash that he refused. Sahabudin then immediately contacted the police.
