Water Supply to South Bali Suffers Significant Temporary Outage
A number of locations in South Kuta, Bali have experienced interruptions in supply from the State Water Board (PDAM).

As reported by Balipost.com, among the businesses and areas affected are the Hotel Mulia, Hotel Hilton (Nusa Dua), the Sawangan area, Kori Nuansa, and Taman Griya.

While hotels have generally made back up provisions for water supply, private homes are often without any water supply.

The CEO of PDAM – Tirta Mangutama, Ketut Golak, said on Thursday, May 24, 2018, that the current interruption was caused by leaks in a 400-meter-long stretch of piping near the Hotel Mulia, Sawangan, Nusa Dua.

While previous breakdowns in the water supply have been caused by excavation and construction work, the latest interruption in service is due to a failure of the piping system.

PDAM officials targeted to return service by Saturday, May 26, 2018.
