Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, Bali, is hosting “Nusa Dua in Harmony” – an outstanding musical event showcasing the extraordinary talents of the world-renowned Balinese flute player Gus Teja. Gus Teja will perform in concert with talented local musicians performing on slonding, tingklik , and other percussion instruments, synergizing musically on 08 July, supplemented by contemporary lead guitar and bass accompaniment.
Gus Teja World Music is a musical collaboration with a deep connection to nature and the spirituality of Bali. Gus Teja inspires the world with beautiful ethnic traditional music infused with modern influences. He is a young Balinese musician who has won global recognition by presenting an exciting fusion of traditional and contemporary sounds.
In presenting “Nusa Dua in Harmony,” The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, Bali, seeks to preserve unique traditions and the highly cherished Balinese culture surrounding this “most Balinese” of Island properties.
Gus Teja World Music captivates audiences with its masterful musicianship. The evening will also feature local artisans from the Manubada Art Community, a painting exhibition from ISI (Institut Seni Indonesia – Indonesian Fine Arts Institute), and the works of rising fashion designer Julia Manda.
“Nusa Dua in Harmony” takes place on Saturday, 8 July 2023, at the Hotel’s Budaya Cultural Theatre – an open-air theater with an authentic Balinese stage.
A feast for both the eyes and ears, participants’ taste buds will also be lavished with an exclusive four-course menu of outstanding cuisine. Ticket prices start from Rp. 750,000, plus 21% tax and service, provide admission to the musical performance and a four-course set menu. With limited seating available, early booking is recommended.
