Legian Hotel Management (LHM) has appointed Malaysian Fadzlon A. Bakar as their Regional Director of Sales and Marketing to coordinate the promotion of The Legian Seminyak, Bali and The Legian Sire, Lombok scheduled to open in Q4 2020.
Fadzlon brings over 20 years of wide-ranging experience within the hospitality industry, having started her career in sales at Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Kuala Lumpur, followed by The Regent Kuala Lumpur – A Four Seasons Hotel. She then joined Four Seasons Hotels, Singapore as senior sales manager, followed by director of sales at Soori Bali. She was the cluster director of sales and marketing, Maldives for COMO Hotels & Resorts.
Her latest appointment will make Fadzlon responsible for two luxury hotels in sales and marketing, public relations, marketing strategy, revenue management, and reservations.
Fadzlon will be based at The Legian Seminyak, Bali, located on an elevated location over Seminyak Beach featuring 11 private pool villas and 67 suites- all ocean-facing.
Fadzlon will also assist with the launch of The Legian Sire, Lombok, opening in Q4 2020. Located on Lombok’s 3.8-kilometer-long Sire Beach, the boutique all-suite and villa resort features 45 suites and 15 pool villas, designed by award-winning ESA International, under the design leadership of Putu Edy Semara.

A graduated of the MARA Technology University in Hotel and Catering Management, Bakar is an accomplished polyglot speaking English, Malay, German, Hindi, and Japanese.
