Transnusa Flying Between Perth and Bali

Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport welcomed its latest international air connection on Sunday, 23 March 2025, when the Indonesian air carrier Transnusa departed from Perth, Western Australia. 

The General Manager of Bali’s Airport, Ahmad Syaugi Shahab, commenting on the new air service, welcomes Transnusa’s transformation into an international air carrier by commencing its first international route to Perth. “With the premiere of Transnusa’s Perth service, Western Australia is now linked to Bali by six airlines: Transnusa, Indonesia Air Asia, Citilink, Jet Star Airways, Batik Air, and Batik Air Malaysia.

Before its inaugural international flight service from Bali to Perth, Transnusa only operated domestic routes, primarily connecting Jakarta (CGK) and Bali (DPS). 

The new Transnusa service firmly cements Australia as the destination with the most Bali air connections. At least nine Australian destinations are now enjoying direct air connection with the Island of Bali: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

The inaugural Transnusa Flight with Australia left Perth on Thursday, 20 March 2025, with flight number 8B-081 utilizing an Airbus A320 Aircraft. 

The Transnusa schedule departs Bali at 9:10 am local time, landing at Terminal One in Perth at 12:50 local time. The return leg leaves Perth at 13:35, landing in Bali at 17:20. All times are local.

The new service will fly round trip between Perth and Bali three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

With the addition of Transnusa Flights to Western Australia, Bali’s Ngurah Raya Airport serves 23 domestic destinations flown by 12 airlines and 38 international destinations operated by 42 airlines.
