The Rotary Clubs of Bali is lending its assistance to raise awareness about the severe shortage of Rh-Negative Blood Types on the Island of Bali.
Genetic differences between Asians, who record only 0.3% RH Negative Blood, and Americans and Europeans manifest RH Negative Blood Factors at a higher level of 10%. As a result, the Bali Blood Bank experiences an almost chronic shortage of “in stock” RH Negative Blood.
Residents and holiday visitors to Bali with RH Negative Blood are urged to become a “local hero” and consider making a life-saving blood donation.


Donating blood couldn’t be simpler! Contact the Bali Red Cross Blood Bank by telephoning 0361 – 958 3032. After establishing contact, one of the Blood Bank’s Mobile Units will be dispatched to your home, office, or hotel. Each mobile blood bank is staffed by a highly professional team trained to the highest international medical and hygiene standards.
And, yes, disposable single-use needles are used for all blood donations.
