World Rankings for Jakarta & Bali Airports

In the latest edition of Skytrax’s “World’s Top 100 Airport 2024,” Indonesia’s leading airport serving Jakarta from Banten, West Java- The Soekarno-Hatta International Airport was ranked as #28, while Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar came in at #74.

In both instances, the performance of the two major Indonesian airports improved markedly compared to last year’s 2023 Skytrax Rankings. In the 2023 rankings, Jakarta’s main Airport ranked #43, while Bali’s Airport ranked at #80.

The latest edition of the Skytrax Survey gave top prize to The Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha, Qatar.

The Skytrax list “World’s Top 100 Airport 2024” is based on an annual comprehensive World Airport Survey reviewing international travelers and aviation industry members’ reviews of the services and facilities encountered at virtually every international airport.

The results of the Skytrax 2024 Survey reflect the results collated from questionnaires distributed between August 2023 and March 2024.

Travelers replied to survey-tested questions covering the check-in process, arrivals, transfers, airport shopping, security, aircraft boarding, and immigration. 

This is the Skytrax listing of the top 20 international airports in 2024:

  2.  Changi International Airport – Singapore
  3.  Incheon International Airport – South Korea
  4. Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport – Tokyo, Japan
  5.  Narita International Airport – Tokyo, Japan
  6.  Charles de Gaulle Airport (Roissy Airport) – Paris, France
  7.  Dubai International Airport – Duba, U.A.E.
  8.  Munich International Airport – Munich, Germany
  9.  Zurich Airport – Zurich, Switzerland
  10.  Istanbul Airport – Istanbul, Turkey
  11. Hong Kong International Airport – Hong Kong, SAE, PRC
  12. Leonardo Da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport – Rome, Italy 
  13. Vienna International Airport – Vienna, Austria
  14. Helsinki-Vantaa Airport – Helsinki, Finland
  15. Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport  – Madrid, Spain
