AirAsia Indonesia has announced that their current suspension of operations will be extended until 30 September 2021, depicting the decision as part of the Company’s efforts to assist the Government in limiting the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Earlier on 03 July 2021, AirAsia Indonesia announced that all their domestic and international flights would be suspended from 06 July 2021 until 06 August 2021
Despite the suspension of scheduled air services, AirAsia Indonesia says they remain committed to serving charter, cargo, and repatriation requests with strict health protocols applied in every instance.
A press release dated Friday, 03 September 2021, said AirAsia Indonesia will continue to evaluate the developing situation surrounding COVID-19 and is prepared to recommence regularly scheduled flights when conditions permit.
AirAsia Passengers who hold reserved tickets are recommended to convert their booking into a credit balance to be used any time during the coming 730 days (2 years).
Passengers can also make a new booking for a new departure before 30 November 2021 without penalty.
AirAsia Indonesia will consider requests for cash refunds following their prevailing terms and conditions.
