Bali has boosted its direct air connection with Hong Kong by resuming flights by Hong Kong Airlines on Monday, 17 April 2023.
Quoted by the State News Agency Antara, the general manager of Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan, said: “Earlier, the Hong Kong-Bali route was only served by Cathay Pacific. With the inaugural flight by Hong Kong Airlines, the connectivity between these two cities is strengthened.”
The landing of Hong Kong Airlines CRK707 – an Airbus A333 carrying 146 passengers was welcomed on landing at 6:05 AM with a water cannon salute by the Airport’s fire brigade.
The return flight carrying 281 passengers departed at 05:05 AM.
Bali’s Airport currently serves four flight routes to mainland China, the People’s Republic of China, with service to Shenzen, Shanghai, Xiamen, and Hong Kong (SAR). Bali is also connected by air with Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China.
Bali is connected worldwide by international flights to 28 destinations operated by 34 airlines.
