Never too much of a good thing, The Legian Seminyak, Bali has invited Bali’s most-celebrated celebrity chef Chris Salans of Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique, back for another 3-day culinary event.
A Weekend with Chris Salans returns 22 – 24 October 2021 for three separate and equally delicious days of culinary delight, prepared by the world-renowned chef whose initial foray 25 years ago on the Island of Bali was as the Executive Chef during the opening of The Legian Seminyak, Bali.
In the intervening years, Chris established the award-winning Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique and Spice by Chris Salans – both located in Bali’s cultural heart of Ubud. The French-American chef has become a globe-trotting ambassador of Indonesian fin- dining that combines unique archipelagic ingredients with the time-honored traditions culinaires of France. Salans is a TV celebrity chef, a former Garuda Indonesia Star Chef, and an inductee as a Chevalier – Order of Agricultural Merit by the French Republic for his pioneering devotion to French cooking techniques in the international promotion of Indonesian cuisine.

22 October 2021 – Friday Seafood Affair
The Mozaic Restaurant Culinary Crew will present a tempting array of the oceans’ bounty from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm. The attractively priced set menu will see 12-dishes placed before each diner highlighted by Hamachi Sashimi, Baked Baby Scallops, Fillets of Grilled Snapper, and a Seafood Barigoule.
The Restaurant’s Head Sommelier, Suartika, will be on hand to suggest wine pairing to accompany each course.
This extensive set menu is priced at Rp. 690,000 per person. An à la carte menu is also available.
All prices are subject to 11% government tax and 10% service charge.

23 October 2021 – Saturday ‘ad hoc ‘with Chris Salans
Chris Salans has made Bali’s rich and bustling traditional food and fish markets a “second-home” and a source of inspiration for his globally-praised approach to haute cuisine prepared with the finest Indonesian ingredients.
The term ‘Ad Hoc’ literally means “for this purpose.” It derives from The Restaurant’s raison d’etre: creating and curating fresh and delicious food for its guests based on only the best ingredients available in the morning market of the day.
Chris’ Saturday night feast will work with the freshest seasonal ingredients of the day and then devise a menu for the Saturday evening ‘ad hoc’ dinner on Saturday, 23 October 2021.
Diners are welcome to contact The Restaurant on Friday, one day before the ‘ad hoc’ dinner, to learn the results of Salans’ latest foray into the local market and the resulting menu planned for that night.
A sumptuous set menu will be served for Rp. 690,000 per person in The Restaurant from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

24 October 2021 – Sunday Jazz Brunch
Spend a relaxing Sunday relaxing and enjoying Indian Oceans vistas from the edge of The Legian’s Swimming Pool while savoring course after course of a Gourmet Sunday Jazz Brunch prepared by The Mozaic Team.
Diners joining the Sunday Jazz Brunch are also welcome to use the pool, partake of the Wellness facilities, enjoy beach access, and delight their children with supervised kids’ activities – specially prepared for the younger set’s entertainment.
Alfresco and enclosed dining options are available with live jazz music performed for brunch-time diners’ listening pleasure.
The Sunday Jazz Brunch is presented at The Restaurant and on the immediately adjoining poolside deck area.
