Batik Air – the full-service airline of the Lion Air Group – will operate direct air service between Bali and Adelaide, Australia, commencing on 10 November 2023.
As reported by Kompas.com, the DPS-ADL service will be flown with Boeing 737-800NG aircraft configured with 12 business and 150 economy seats.
In a formal press release dated Thursday, 26 October 2023, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Strategic Corporate Communications Director of Batik Air, said: “This initiative will be beneficial for both tourist and business travelers by facilitating access between two high-demand destinations.”
For the period 10 November until 13 December 2023, the new Batik Air service will operate twice each week on Mondays and Fridays.
The schedule for the Bali-Adelaide flights during the initial month of operations:

ADL – DPS ID 6012 10:20/13:30
Batik Air hopes to not only bring South Australians to Bali but also provide travelers with access to secondary destinations in Indonesia served by Lion Air, including Labuan Bajo, Lombok, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Makassar, and Manado.
