DestinAsian Readers Picks Bali as the Best in Asia

DestinAsian – a leading Southeast Asian travel publication, has announced the winners of its 2025 Readers Choice Awards (RCA). This year marks the 18th time DestinAsian Readers Choice Awards have been awarded involving votes cast in a worldwide survey of readers. The survey covers 36 categories within the travel industry, including airlines, hotels, and favorite holiday destinations.

The DestinAsian Readers Choice Award Ceremony was held at The Ayana Resort in Bali on 07 March 2025 to celebrate those travel companies in the Asia-Pacific chosen by the sophisticated readership of the publication.

As reported by BeritaBali.com, Marriott International dominated the awards ceremony, winning across 13 categories. Seven awards were presented to The Ritz-Carlton: two for JW Marriott, two for St. Regis, and one for Bulgari. Meanwhile, Marriott Bonvoy was acknowledged as the best hotel loyalty program.

In the aviation category, Singapore Airlines swept awards in all the airline categories, winning “Best Frequent Flyer Program” for its Kris Flyer Rewards.

Bali won the “Best Island” designation from DestinAsian, once again proving the Island’s continuing ability to attract global visitors. Meanwhile, Bangkok, Thailand, won “Best City” recognition.
