Indonesia AirAsia is launching a new domestic route connecting Bali and Lampung, South Sumatra, and another new international route flying from Jakarta to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
Quoted by the State News Agency Antara, the CEO of Indonesia AirAsia, Veranita Yosephine, said the new routes demonstrate the airline’s commitment to advancing Indonesian tourism and the business sector. Speaking on Friday, 17 November 2023, Veranita said: “The Bali – Lampung route is the sixth domestic route (opened by Indonesia AirAsia) this year while the route Jakarta to Kota Kinabalu is the fifth international route operated by the carrier.
Indonesia AirAsia’s Bali – Lampung domestic route will commence on 17 January 2024. flying four times each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, QZ 182 will depart Bali at 10:50 am while the return leg from Lampung back to Bali departs with QZ 183 at 12:25 pm.
The inaugural flight from Jakarta to Kota Kinabalu will depart on 06 February 2024, flying three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. QZ 526 from Jakarta to Kota Kinabalu departs Indonesia at 12:15 pm, with QZ 527 flying the return leg and departing Kota Kinabalu at 4:35 pm.
