PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has announced a price hike for non-subsidized diesel-type fuels—such as Dexlite—raising the price to Rp 23,700 per liter from the previous Rp 19,700 per liter, effective 01 September 2026
”The price adjustment was made based on the formula established by the government,” said Pertamina Patra Niaga VP of Corporate Communication Kitty Andhora in an official statement confirmed by the State News Agency ANTARA on Monday, 31 August 2026.
Factors considered in setting prices include global crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, taxes, and other relevant factors, such as the purchasing power of consumers using these fuels.
”The price adjustments apply to the following Pertamina products Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite,” Kitty said.
Regarding the price increase for Pertamina Dex, the price rose from Rp 21,150 per liter to Rp 25,200 per liter, effective 01 September.
The price of Pertamax Turbo was also increased, rising from Rp 18,300 per liter in August to Rp 19,600 per liter starting 01 September.
”Meanwhile, other non-subsidized fuel products, such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95, did not undergo price adjustments. This decision took into account economic viability, purchasing power, and social conditions,” Kitty stated.
Kitty emphasized that these price adjustments do not affect Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to maintaining product quality and providing excellent service to consumers.
Separately, Ahad Rahedi—Area Manager for Communications, Relations, and CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga in the East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara region—urged the public to purchase fuel according to their needs and use products that match their vehicle specifications to ensure proper fuel use.
The details of the price adjustments for non-subsidized fuel effective 01 September 2026 are as follows:
- Pertamax Turbo (RON 98): from Rp 18,300 to Rp 19,600 per liter
- Dexlite: from Rp 19,700 to Rp 23,700 per liter
- Pertamina Dex: from Rp 21,150 to Rp 25,200 per liter.
