STHALA, I’m in Love

There’s no debating the fact that Bali is a place for romance. Over the years, many romances were born and blossomed as the result of a holiday visit to the Enchanted Island. Captivated by the “Island of Love,” couples often propose on one of Bali’s tropical beaches or a panoramic hilltop, only to return later to pledge their eternal fidelity in an incomparable sacred wedding followed by a lavish reception – the kind of which is possible only in Bali.

Constructed by skilled craftsmen with a romantic outlook on life, Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali by Marriott International, the 5-star property opened in 2016, nestled in a jungle setting along the banks of the Wos River. The Resort presents endless options for intimate, memorable wedding locales that include: Rooftop dining and entertainment venues positioned on cascading levels of the Resort, 400 square meters of interior meeting space, panoramic pool and sundecks, and terraced tropical gardens framed against jungle greenery and the gentle flowing of the Wos River.

In addition to the many physical charms of the Sthala Resort’s architecture and natural setting is the property’s unrivaled reputation for authentic Balinese hospitality. At the very heart of Balinese culture are its deep spirituality, mutual respect, and a never-ending cycle of ceremonies, rituals, and prayers that are an obligatory part of the daily life of the Balinese.

In a lifelong passage of rituals and rites, each person’s position and responsibilities in their family and the ritual life of the community are emphasized. Similarly, the”family” of dedicated professionals working at Sthala considers it a profound privilege to be allowed to serve hundreds of Island residents and visitors who choose to celebrate their weddings at the Resort.

The opportunity to participate in the organization and execution of weddings and receptions is an honor enthusiastically embraced by the management and associates at Sthala, who approach guest weddings with the same care and attention to detail used for their own family members.

In the course of welcoming lovebirds for a romantic stay or launching newlyweds on their life together, Sthala has also created a range of unique experiences to form lasting memories for starry-eyed lovers.

To name but a few of the many delights that await romantic couples at Sthala Ubud Bali:
