Indonesia’s newest airline Super Air Jet, operated its inaugural flight between Jakarta and Bali on Thursday, 18 November 2021, with flight IU-754 landing in Bali at 6:39 PM. The return flight to Jakarta IU-755 departed at 7:19 PM.
Operating on with a single daily round trip flight, Super Jet’s initial regular schedule is:
IU-754 Jakarta-Denpasar 1445/1735
IU-755 Denpasar-Jakarta 1815/1920
The flight operates with an Airbus A320 aircraft configured to carry 180 passengers.
Special introductory limited-time offer fares are available of Rp, 588,600 from Jakarta to Denpasar and Rp. 573,600 from Denpasar to Jakarta. Fares include 20 kilograms of free checked baggage.

Herry AY Sikado, general Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I (PAP 1), welcomed the new flight, signifying the ever-increasing number of domestic flights landing in Bali. To welcome the arrival of the latest airline to Bali, emergency fire trucks parked on two sides of the taxiway created a “water salute” as the flight taxied to the terminal.
Saying he hoped Super Jet would grow and add more flights to Bali, Sikado said Bali had recorded a 71% growth in passenger numbers during the last two months.
As reported by Beritasatu.com, Super Air Jet, in cooperation with the Indonesian charter operator Flyindo Aviasi Nusantara (FAN), received initial funding of US$ 67.8 million from Rusdi Kirana an owner of the Lion Air Group. The initial capitalization was paid in two lots to Super Air Jet (Rp. 518 billion), and FAN (Rp. 450 billion) transferred from the Lion Mentari account at Bank Negara Indonesia.
Debtwire reports that both FAN and Super Air Jet are controlled by the Rusdi Kirana family, which owns and controls the Lion Air Group.
