August a Record Month for Bali Air Traffic

In August 2022, air passenger totals, both domestic and international, continue to increase at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Angkasa Pura I (AP1), who manage Indonesia’s second-busiest airport, reported passenger movements surpassed 1 million in August. Taufan Yudistira, the Stakeholder Relations Manager for AP1 in Bali, told NusaBali.com that arriving and department domestic and international air passengers for the period 01 until 26 August 2022 reached 1,091,641. This total is incomplete and does not include the last five days of August.

Taufan said Bali’s Airport averages more than 22,000 domestic passengers daily and approximately 19,000 international passengers.

The growing number of passengers passing through Bali’s Airport reflects the increasing number of flight movements to and from Bali. The interim count of (01-26 August) of flight movements reached 7,071 aircraft, comprised of 4,515 domestic and 2,256 international flights.
