Balinese Home Cooking for World Leaders

During the gathering of superpowers in Bali for the G20 Summit, some of the world leaders in attendance must have found the opportunity to tap into the intelligence departments at their respective embassies to learn where best to find authentic and high-quality Balinese cuisine during their visit.

As the accompanying pictures demonstrate, good times were enjoyed by both staff and VVIP world leaders at Art Café Bumbu Bali. Pictured here are Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and English Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The Art Café Bumbu Bali also enjoyed organizing a private dinner party for the Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and a dinner for the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Such was the feedback from these high-ranking guests on the service and great food enjoyed at Art Café Bumbu Bali in Bali that Indonesian Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, made a special point of visiting the Restaurant on 16 November 2022 to issue his congratulations personally and thank owner Heinz von Holzen, wife Puji, and son Fabian together with the hard-working and cheerful team of Bumbu Bali.

The Bumbu Bali team is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary of operating what is arguably the best Balinese Restaurant on the island.
